Peace and Solitude

It has been almost 2 weeks since I have had the boys–2 weeks without children! YAY! I am getting so relaxed and almost back to my old self except for this damn nasty cold I got. Of course the boys will probably be back soon. Now I see why I didn’t have children…I probably wasn’t meant to have them because I do love my solitude.

I did wake up to the sound of someone’s bare feet sliding across my floors though–just like the boys when they wake up in the morning. My brother stayed the night because he had work closer this way than the Detroit area. I don’t know why he doesn’t stay at his own house but I was happy to have him without the kids, ha!

Eight years ago today…

Me and my husband were getting married at the wonderful Waldenwoods. Wish I could go back and experience that day all over again. Makes me want to renew our vows at least…either back at Waldenwoods or on Mackinac Island. Maybe someday.

Judge Judy on bad mom behavior:

The title says parental alienation but it isn’t exactly parental alienation although it is bad. She was pissed at her ex, pissed that he didn’t do as she asked, so she decided to make sure she was heard…basically taking her mess out on her son. This is the kind of shit my husband’s ex-wife used to do to him. I know this kind of think happens a lot–too much. It is like it is accepted–at least when moms behave that way. It is unacceptable! More judges need to be like Judge Judy and call moms out on this type of behavior.
