Graduation is fast approaching – 2 more months!! I haven’t lost the weight I wanted to lose, damn it. Too stressed the last few months to worry about that. I have lost a little but not from trying. It is mid-semester break right now so maybe I can regroup and still lose a few more pounds before the big day. Really I want to lose a lot more but whatever I can do will have to do.

I couldn’t sleep last night so I ordered a few things for commencement. Damn! I am going to be loaded up with honor cords, medallions, and stuff. Ha, I am a sucker for all that crap but I figure, hey, I worked my ass off to earn 2 degrees and be a member of 3 honor societies so I may as well show it off. I am also graduating with high honors so that adds some more decoration. I will have lots of pretty colors.

Because I have a GPA of 3.8 I am eligible for the Maize and Blue Award. I need to politick to get nominated – not sure if I will have the time or even if I have enough qualifications. You basically have to be Super Student (Super Person) to get nominated. They don’t make these awards easy for the non-traditional student to attain. In addition to having a high GPA you have to have some volunteer experience, be involved on campus, and perhaps have something published or have done an academic presentation (research?). Perhaps those were just he qualifications for the Psychology Department and I already know they aren’t nominating me (bitches). My only chance is with my English professors. I have been involved on campus, though not heavily. I do have some volunteer experience, though not a lot (how the hell do people fit it all in?). I think it should be enough that I have excellent grades, help out my fellow students (without credit), in addition to being a wife, stepmother, and battling health issues, AND crazy family issues. Damn, its been a struggle. I guess I should have killed myself more. Whatever. Perhaps I’ll try for it, perhaps I won’t. Graduating with High Honors should be good enough for me 🙂 I’m pretty excited.

There are a lot more of those around than people think and they are not all women. There is a hidden population of women sociopaths. Not all sociopaths/psychopaths are big time criminals or serial killers – they do just enough to fuck with people, and sometimes fuck up their kids or families. Of course the most successful sociopaths/psychopaths aren’t going to get caught. They know how to play the game, keep their nastiness on the down low; on the outside they are sweetness and light, on the inside they are evil. They don’t play well with others, really.

How some people think it is always about them? In more ways than one. Well, I suppose if someone identifies with a quote I put up and thinks it is about them they must recognize themselves in it, right? Like I’ve said before, “If the shoe fits wear it” – don’t get pissed at me, or try to make it my problem simply because I post information and you perceive it to be about you, ha.
