End of Mid-Winter Break

Not an auspicious end to my break. I didn’t get anything done. Not any writing or homework anyway. I don’t want to write these boring papers– I have about 4 due or overdue. Grrr…

I did get some reading done. Not all that I needed…though I am ahead in two classes. The Blackwater Lightship was too good not to finish.Ragtime was good also, so I breezed through the first half.

I was hoping to get even further ahead…I have some extra reading to do– at least 2-3 books. I have a few assignments coming up I could prepare for.

But:

I met 3 appointments this week.

I did umpteen loads of dishes and laundry.

I did get some grocery shopping done. Bought some Easter candy so I am somewhat prepared for Easter.

But here it is the last day of my break. The last whole day.

So today is the last day I can really dedicate the whole of the day to writing…

Of course I would feel restless. Of course the boys are acting up, running around the house like a pack of wild animals. Of course I can’t concentrate or sit myself down to my computer and really dig in.

Ugh.

Maybe I’ll just keep reading.
