The Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone – the silliest musical I have ever seen, but very funny (I love the character Adolpho). I guess most musicals are silly but this one is kind of a spoof on musicals. Me, my husband and some friends went to a free performance of the musical at UM-Flint tonight. Haha, I didn’t tell him it was going to be a musical – that’s how I got him to go. I am not so big on musicals myself, well I say that until I think how many I actually like! Sometimes they just seem a little cheesy but they are a lot of fun. I think it is better to see musicals live.  

From what I hear the cast and crew are going to a competition (I am fuzzy on the details but I know they went to a competition last year) with this play so they needed to perform it once again for an audience before they go. I hope they do well. It was a good performance and some of the actors have wonderful singing voices – some of the songs were quite good. I know that watching them perform makes me want to get back into theatre. I miss performing!

A personal shout out

Just wanted to say hey to my biggest fan. Yes I saw you in court today. Yes I have something to say about it but I have other things to do (read, more important, ha) right now. What do you want to know? Do I like how it turned out? Pretty much, yes I do. Actually it could have been worked out without having to go to court but c’est la vie and I like sitting in court listening to the cases. I really like the judge – she seems fair and willing to listen (I sat and listened to her in November probably before you and your lawyer realized she was the correct judge, ha again). Do I think you will hold up your end of the bargain? No, I don’t. Do I think this was about a certain someone’s safety or more about your needs? What do you think, or why don’t you tell me.wordpress stat

Hi new blog!

Hi new blog; well not really new blog but new hosting site. I still don’t know how I feel about this blog hosting site but I figured I would give it a try. I miss my old Space for sure. As soon as I transferred my blog over here, my space was deleted. I know I read that it would be but I had momentarily forgotten and went back to see if I could copy my ‘favorite’ lists but it was gone. I was sad 😦

I really miss my background over there – I custom-made but I cannot find the picture that I used. I don’t like the themes they have on here and it is harder to create a custom set up. I’ll have to play around with it more and see if I can come up with something that satisfies me. If not there is always blogger or other sites.wordpress analytics
